The European Students’ Union Team

The European Students’ Union (ESU) is the umbrella organisation of 46 National Unions of Students (NUSes) from 40 countries and represents almost 20 million students in Europe through its members. The NUSes, student-run and autonomous are open to all students regardless of political views, religion, cultural origin, sexual orientation and social standing. 

Since 1982, ESU represents and promotes the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level towards all relevant bodies (e.g. the European Union, Bologna Follow-up group, Council of Europe and UNESCO).

Fanchon is in charge of the overall coordination of the programme and its activities (call for projects, training events, etc.).

Martina Darmanin

ESU President

Martina is in charge of advocacy and the political strategy of the programme. Among other things, she is focusing on the ESU’s social dimension portfolio.

Borna nemet

ESU Human Rights and Solidary Coordinator

Borna is in charge of advocacy and the political strategy of the programme, together with Martina.
